I built the cross-platform app, custom database structure, authentication integration, location logic, and modular code organization.

Use case

Make halal restaurants across NYC discoverable through a mobile map experience rather than a static directory.

I built the data retrieval, normalization, price comparison, and discrepancy-detection logic for in-game item markets.

Virtual item prices vary across markets for CS:GO, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, and Rust, creating short-lived arbitrage opportunities.

Messy external data

Pricing data comes from APIs and scraped sources, then has to be normalized before it is useful.

Maps and distance

The halal map depends on OpenStreetMap, Overpass API, location queries, and distance calculations.
